The Rams Head Group Announces Strategic Acquisition of The Grateful Guitar in Key West
The Rams Head Group today announced that the company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The Grateful Guitar retail guitar shop in Key West. The Grateful Guitar was founded in 2012 by Key West residents Daryl and Susanne Brooke. The transaction will be effective November 1, 2020.
With this acquisition, Rams Head continues to expand its footprint in the music and entertainment venue presence in Key West. The Grateful Guitar will bring to Rams Head and the Key West Theater natural synergy with its quality guitar and music instruments product line, talented staff, and social media platform, further expanding Rams Head audience reach locally and nationwide.
“We are thrilled with this acquisition….Rams Head has the experience, resources, and ability to take The Grateful Guitar to the next level,” said Daryl Brooke.
The Key West Theater, located at 512 Eaton Street, underwent renovations beginning in 2014. The historic building originally built in 1848 is now home to a 278 seat Main Stage Theater, the Back Stage Listening Room, Key West Theater Recording Studio, Offices at Eaton Street and The Grateful Guitar.
Over the past six years, these rooms have been filled with audiences enjoying the best of live music, comedy, variety shows and more, supporting local and national music and arts.
“Rams Head looks forward to building on the great reputation that Daryl and Susanne have created within our community. We are excited to bring on this addition towards our vision of expansion and growth of live entertainment in the Keys,” states Kelly Norman.
